Lightwood Farm Caravan Site is a Caravan Club Certified Location, just minutes from the centre of Sheffield, but in a beautiful pocket of Moss Valley countryside not far from the Peak District.
Our site is by all means quite simple, but we think that adds to its charm. It also boasts the best sunrise view in the Moss Valley. Our 5 pitches, each have hook up and an individual water tap. A chemical emptying point, recycling and rubbish bins are provided at Lightwood Farm – a short 150m walk away (or drive if you wish). We encourage you to recycle as much as possible.

We are really fortunate to bridge the gap between city and countryside, meaning there’s an abundance of things to do near-by and something to suit everyone. Whether you’re here for a holiday, visiting local friends or family, or even making a brief stop by the area for a concert.
Our site is in the heart of the Moss Valley, surrounded by beautiful walks through farmland and ancient woodland, and we’re a 15 minute drive from the edge of the Peak District for the keener hikers and mountain bikers. Sheffield itself, boasts a vast array of attractions from culture and history, to characterful pubs and bars, live music and theatre, sport and retail therapy.
Our Site Facilities
Our Caravan Club Certified Location has 5 pitches on the field. Each pitch has electric hook-up and an individual water tap.
The Site is just round the corner from Lightwood Farm itself – see our site map below for more details. Rubbish and recycling bins, plus the chemical emptying point are round at Lightwood Farm. The walk on the road (a quiet country lane) is approximately 150m. You’re welcome to drive round with your rubbish etc if you wish.
The rest of the field is used as farmland and has a beautiful view across the valley, enjoying a prime South East facing aspect for a beautiful sunrise.
Dogs are welcome and Lightwood Lane gives access to plenty of footpaths for stunning local walks, right from the doorstep of your Caravan.
